Other than the smaller 2.8-inch and 3.4-inch Android PMPs, Archos also brings the Archos 43, a 4.3-inch palm-size Android tablet/PMP that looks like a touchscreen smartphone. Packing a 1Ghz Cortex A8 CPU and graphics accelerator, like the Archos 7 and 101, the Archos 43 runs Android 2.2 Froyo. It’s 4.3-inch touchscreen has 480×854 resolution.

ZTE announced a new 3G-capable Android tablet device called ZTE Light. The Light is really lightweight, weighing just 403g. It runs Android 2.1 OS with 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. The Light has a 7-inch touchscreen and supports dual band UMTS/WCDMA/HSPA 2100 MHZ/900 MHz 3G/3.5G network.

Gigabyte is planning its new TouchNote T1000, a new convertible tablet netbook, following the TouchNote T1028.

The new T1000 sports Intel’s new Atom N450 1.66GHz or Atom N470 1.83GHz processor and integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics. It gets 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

Toshiba made its Portege M780 touchscreen tablet PC official and is now selling it. Powered by Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPU, the M780 gets a 12.1-inch 1280×800 display with LED-backlight and support for digital pen.

Toshiba’s new tablet PC packs Intel HD graphics, WiFi, integrated DVD burner, eSATA/USB combo port and multi-in-one card reader.

Apple has pleasantly surprised us at the end of January with the presentation of its first Tablet PC, aimed at more demanding users. It was a Tablet PC with the sales name iPad, which is a sort of cross between a normal laptop computer and multimedia mobile phones and the iPhone is targeted at both home and business use. Many users have criticized Apple’s Tablet PC in particular, that no multi-tasking, no support for Flash applications, has installed cameras and does not provide support for connecting your TV or projector.

For this reason, opponents of the first Apple computer will probably prefer to purchase the new Tablet PC companies OpenPeak which uses Intel’s Moorestown platformto run software . It has a powerful Intel processor Atom, third generation mobile telephony, mobile TV and wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

OpenPeak OpenTablet Tablet PC is equipped with 17.8-cm screen, GPS and fully supports Flash applications. Newcomer has a slot to external devices available to the HDMI connector. Gadget enthusiasts can expect a new offering from Handheld to enter into the markets soon. The company brings to the forefront the new Algiz 7 rugged tablet computer. The latest product is noted to be a portable 7-inch widescreen tablet which houses the Microsoft Windows 7 Professional operating system. It also includes an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor with 64GB Solid State hard drive as well as 2GB of DDR2 RAM.

The latest offering from Handheld comes complete with WLAN, GPS, Bluetooth and an integrated 2-megapixel camera with LED light. The optional 3G cellular capabilities offer high-speed GSM/UMTS/EVDO data transmission. The Gobi 2000 technology-ready device includes integrated antennas. This allows users to work on any wireless frequency they desire.

The 7-inch device has a tiltable touchscreen, sports Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, and hooks into a variety  of apps including  Navteq and Facebook. You’ll also be able to stream video and audio from sites such as YouTube, while a hookup with Sony’s Bravia Internet takes care of full movies.

Whether this will be enough to beat the smartphone market is a moot point, but the wallet-friendly Dash is set to hit the streets in April for a reasonable $199.

Panasonic presented new member of the family of tablet PCs Toughbook, which is resistant to shock, vibration, falls, dust and even water. Durable Tablet PC Panasonic Toughbook H1 is therefore perfect for those who mainly work in the field and in the extremes of climate conditions.

Google [GOOG] has presented a concept of management of its Chrome Tablet OS. The concept was developed by the user interface of Google Chrome lead Glen Murphy, and gives us one possible future, Google tablet look.

As seen in the video below, one thing stands out is the ability to multi-task in the bar of Google, Apple something IPAD is inadequate.

If Google is not an operating system based on compressed Chrome produce and has multi-tasking then it is the only pill that Apple may be some competition iPad.

I wonder whether Google will see a stone in this year of course work on the other side, it would be interesting to see what it is.
