Lost amid the publicity of tablet PCs are the pen tablets. I do not personally own one, but I am amazed as to the advances made in digital pen technology since the days of the Apple Newton PDAs. The Wacom pen tablet has 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and can be used not only to draw, but also to paint and retouch photos. The Wacom pen tablets seem to be the industry standard and the product has received many excellent reviews. It is rated an average of 4.5 stars out of 5 by 230+ Amazon buyers. Available Now (21% Discount) at Amazon with Free Shipping.

Apple has pleasantly surprised us at the end of January with the presentation of its first Tablet PC, aimed at more demanding users. It was a Tablet PC with the sales name iPad, which is a sort of cross between a normal laptop computer and multimedia mobile phones and the iPhone is targeted at both home and business use. Many users have criticized Apple’s Tablet PC in particular, that no multi-tasking, no support for Flash applications, has installed cameras and does not provide support for connecting your TV or projector.

For this reason, opponents of the first Apple computer will probably prefer to purchase the new Tablet PC companies OpenPeak which uses Intel’s Moorestown platformto run software . It has a powerful Intel processor Atom, third generation mobile telephony, mobile TV and wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

OpenPeak OpenTablet Tablet PC is equipped with 17.8-cm screen, GPS and fully supports Flash applications. Newcomer has a slot to external devices available to the HDMI connector. Apples Tablet PC design measures just 22.9 x 12.7 inches, weighs just under 520 grams and a thickness measured in a total of only 15 millimeters.

The 7-inch device has a tiltable touchscreen, sports Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, and hooks into a variety of apps including Navteq and Facebook. You’ll also be able to stream video and audio from sites such as YouTube, while a hookup with Sony’s Bravia Internet takes care of full movies.

Whether this will be enough to beat the smartphone market is a moot point, but the wallet-friendly Dash is set to hit the streets in April for a reasonable $199.

Google [GOOG] has presented a concept of management of its Chrome Tablet OS. The concept was developed by the user interface of Google Chrome lead Glen Murphy, and gives us one possible future, Google tablet look.

As seen in the video below, one thing stands out is the ability to multi-task in the bar of Google, Apple something IPAD is inadequate.

If Google is not an operating system based on compressed Chrome produce and has multi-tasking then it is the only pill that Apple may be some competition iPad.

I wonder whether Google will see a stone in this year of course work on the other side, it would be interesting to see what it is.

If Apple [AAPL] announced its new iPad saw nothing on the Apple website in the UK until a few days later, Apple has now updated its Web site and confirmed that the IPAD in the UK are available.

Although Apple does not publish information on prices in the UK, but is probably a little more expensive IPAD, the United Kingdom. In the U.S. the base model will retail for $ 500 would mean 315 pounds at the exchange today, but the UK version will be sold probably about £ 400 for the base model.

Apple has confirmed that Apple iPad WiFi is as in Britain, in March, and the Wi-Fi and 3G iPad April. Still no details yet on the mobile phone companies in the UK offer IPAD, and whether it will be offered at a subsidized price with a contract for mobile data transmission.

We will keep you updated once we have more information on prices in the United Kingdom and the availability of Apple IPAD find.
