Analytical firm comScore has done a new survey showing that Americans are increasingly viewing online video clips. Last December almost 178 million U.S. internet users on the Internet watched 33.2 billion video clips. The average American has this month visited 187 video clips, which is about 6 per day. The average length of the viewed video was 4.1 minutes (3.5 in March).

As expected Youtube was the most popular site with video content. Following Hulu, Yahoo, Fox Interactive Media, CBS Interactive and Microsoft
