Smallest solar sensor with ARM Cortex M3

Posted by admin On February - 12 - 2010

Engineer David Blaauw of the Michigan public universities introduced the minimum solar sensor to date, which is as a thousand times smaller than standard systems. Minimum solar sensor so far is only a poor measure 2.5 x 3.5 x 1 mm and the provision of adequate conditions is virtually unlimited lifetime.

The minimum solar sensor is mounted ARM Cortex M3 processor, which at full load uses only one billionth of a watt of electrical power or as many as two thousand times less than comparable devices. Solar sensor operation needs a half volts of electrical tension, while its battery Cymbet can generate nearly four volte.
