Swype Keyboard

An alternative to the Android virtual keyboard, the Swype virtual keyboard allows you to input text by swiping the finger with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard. Based on testing, speed, and accuracy are equal to or better than the traditional keyboard-tapping method. You can activate the Swype keyboard by pressing and holding in a text field, wait for popup to appear, click Input Method, and then select Swype.

In the image to the left, the word “quick” was generated from tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. A key advantage to Swype is that there is no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry.

Last October we had never thought that T-Mobile to circle back with myTouch 3G HTC had a slightly modified version fixes all that, especially to develop the symptoms – the lack of an integrated 3.5 mm – but here we are in January with the product to be very relaxing in our hands. Even crazier is that only the modified version (the phone, or at least the only version of the previously known) is a limited edition tie and Pitchman Fender Eric Clapton. Strange Bedfellows in fact – perhaps just strange enough in order to work. Seriously, who does not want a device from an authorized the hottest marked the floors of the 20 Century?

Sungworld’s Android MID fights the future

Do not think we are greater if we say that this device led Sungworld 7-inch touchscreen MID Android seems a little … Well, Apple-ish, and we learned that the user interface (not what we saw in action) creates an index of companies as well. Notwithstanding, they have a puppy for the Big ARM926 processor, 128 MB RAM, 2 GB of memory, two USB ports. He said everything is blue in pink, green, purple and black to be available, and we do not know the price, but we proceed from the fact that the tablet that we deal in recent weeks not achieved heard Wednesday, Well …

If you do not press the state or a worker who shows the most important trade fair trade education can, informative, relaxing … We dare say that is not up to the events of the festival really at the mere mention of fear. Of course, the compensation that you (or your employer if you’re lucky) is responsible for hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars for the companies in turn to the facts in order. So, what are they like to speak except for a few days to play cool with some of the most important people in the industry and the ability to steal stuff, and as many promotional pens and USB possible? In the case of GDC in March participants who are either decorated in the enrollment handset / mobile phone, on the iPhone or the Independent Games Summit to elect a robot or a Nexus, the warmer, devices from Motorola and HTC Android, and – probably destinations of choice for the market is still be used-to-be-for 3D games on the platform. With the Palm Web site, you should do some interesting dynamics – but once again, so that these things to people in an event called “Summit of the iPhone, for crying out loud.

Laboratories Ericsson demonstrates an API to use (through three dimensions of interpretation of the world on real images of Saab powered spin-off of the defense business, and not the car company navigate C3) technologies in the coming Sony Ericsson X10 – in short, the view amazing. The control buttons are a bit cheesy action, of course, but not worry too much about it – that’s necessarily a proof of concept “and the most important thing is that no matter how much running vertically and horizontally sweeping through the urban landscape of the demo is donor The video output is still true over 30 frames per second. Thank you God for the lion’s mouth, right? There is no indication that we will see a final version of this application in X10S break out of the box, but fortunately this is something impressive.

Motorola MOTOROI

They usually are not found to be near the phone, unless you’re about to put it against the side of the face, but hey, we come to an intimate moment with a device that uses this amount can not possible harm it now? Here is one of the first high-definition-laden hands on experience from the last sentence of Motorola Android, the MOTOROI, with a ROM of Korea for the upcoming launch of SK Telecom. At that moment, the first thing is the test user’s browser multi-touch support, which shows the output could be a problem here – even in the phone OMAP3 basic – but good news is that the presence of non-blur seems to be to stutter the Home screen, as shown CLIQ and Dexter. Considering all things, does the strange hump in the lower right hand does not seem as dramatic as in the picture yourself press, seemingly a good thing – especially since the last conversation that we see this sucker launch worldwide in the coming months.

Although we did not the liquid itself that Acer saw yours on American soil, the rich Britons were treated to a second color option – black – underclocked this phone Android snapdragons. Still no sign of the Red option, but Acer has promised. The prices are stable at about 330 pounds (about $ 537) in a couple of UK e-tailers, but good, with tag $ 529 in the Nexus One Bright, it is difficult with our British friends to be angry. I hope Google and Vodafone can work something good for them.

FiOS Mobile app comes to Android

Posted by admin On January - 17 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Every decent DVR now supports remote programming via the Internet – and with the exception of Windows Media Center 7 – Verizon FiOS TV and DVR is no different. Web applications, but obviously not compared to real-world applications, as this term for users of Android. The use of new FiOS Mobile has a program guide and remote VOD menu so you can do what you see below, as well as parental controls and an indicator of the open space – what TiVo n ‘does not even offer the DVR itself. Of course, in any case, you actually see the contents of your DVR, and surprising. Well, before you jealous of Android users with Verizon FiOS TV DVR, we must not forget that the FiOS DVR has a 160GB hard drive and external drive mounted, and how miserable to see the screen, FiOS users have no room for new recordings anyway .

Fan-made to do? Very possible, but we are very excited about this idea. The band at Mobile01 I put two photos of the so-called shadow of Motorola (not with the T-Mobile Shadow to be confused), the summary seems Droid Milestone white keyboard with a wrist strap. Even more interesting is the assertion that this is the next flagship device from Google, this could be, also affectionately known as Nexus Two. Although there is no way to confirm this point, we could completely buy the feasibility. After all, what better way to complement the Nexus a slate with a QWERTY physical keyboard? And who better than the company whose device Android 2.0 platform increases Mindshare at supersonic speed, prepared with a CEO will need to continue to support the introduction of a competitive product?

SDG Bluebird Menu The white line is nothing new – even the ultra-GDP-6000 rugged handheld – but what is new is the support of Android. Previously, with Windows Mobile 6.1, machine rolls on a Marvell PXA320 at 806MHz bestial GSM / HSDPA voice and data services, 3-megapixel camera, a barcode scanner, 3.5-inch VGA screen, full QWERTY keyboard and — You guessed it – - MIL-SPEC 810F Performance of resistance against almost everything reasonable to reject. Needless to say that this is not the kind of phone you buy for your pre-teen, his grandmother, or yourself, for that matter – but if a fleet of boys and girls who need to explore things that case, without regard to their cell phones in the global market demands downloads on the street, and hatred in your Trimble Nomad Competition is equipped, it could very well be your lucky day. Android have now is 1.5, but the company expects a “2.x” update (we guess it will be 2.1) or this quarter or next to investments in cash – and dreaming the most creative way to keep the moisture resistance to take the test while you’re there.

ASUS / Pegatron Neo with Tegra 2 hands-on

ASUS may be in the process of splitting pegatron brand, but still the same company, here behind the white spot SmartBook. Use the operating system, Android inevitable in a 10-inch screen, but never boring Tegra 2 Combo 1080p playback and up to a day of WiFi juice of the battery, the machine prototype was presented to us an indication of what awaits us. We are told that the Neo probably towards the end of this year, even if the data is not still open from the sticker price and dealer plates. With our money, it is a pseudo-dramatic thin and light notebook – is difficult to overestimate how to withhold the weight of this thing. The opening is an attractive layout and the keyboard, which is rather characterized by a number of parts that squeak and unstable. Found deep flex-panel keypad and around the hinges, but we are optimistic souls willing, the things one by one until there is a demonstration unit. If this design makes the boom market without good while to get rid of things, while getting the bad, we recommend a second heat and sweat.

There is another “Motorola Calgary device (also known as Devour Droid) on time, and this time showed a coating of silver and a clear picture of Motorola House Blur. Word is that the trackpad on the top right of the keyboard is great, and supposedly More than Droid keyboard – not a difficult task, to be sure. Of course, it is confirmed by Verizon and Boy Genius managed that the Wi-Fi, integrated GPS, but still unclear what the purpose of the distinction between low and could Droid they be outside the three-megapixel camera and seems to be a smaller, lower resolution screen.

HTC Espresso’s revised Sense UI spotted?

Posted by admin On December - 21 - 2009 ADD COMMENTS

Little is known, among the thousands of rumors apparently HTC Android phone in the first half of 2010 about the mysterious espresso – is the code-name is in the ROM of 2.1 and a report on incomplete applications will have a QWERTY keyboard for a list of the MLC, but beyond that we are in the dark. Anyway, the site now claims the Italian espresso hdblog.it show recordings have begun, and at a glance you can see that this is not the way we are accustomed to heroes. The bar at the bottom would now have direct access to the people – a quality that I heard will be reviewed for the next round of Android phones by HTC – and the application icons appear to have translucent surrounds honored to be .. . Well, not quite pretty. We must keep our opinions in check until we actually see a port ROM, of course, I hope that the talks of a revelation in February MWC Pan Out.

Even through the lean years Moto waves in China, which has enjoyed similar popularity – is one of the largest producers, their support for the Homegrown TD-SCDMA 3G nationwide to high-tech, after all, and tended to the sexiest WinMo smartphones such as the Surf maintained. In this sense, do not see it as a surprise, they have so far not one, not two announced but very attractive, three high-end Android phones specifically for the service in the Far East, one for each of China’s three largest lines ( each uses a different 3G technology, which gub’mint) contracts. From left, the XT701 the phone that we thought was the Sholes Tablet – and HSPA, uses radio waves to China Unicom, we have no reason to believe that he could not jump over the Pacific Ocean. The MT710 (center) is a oPhone for China Mobile and even the slightest chance that a jump freely to another continent because it uses a fully customizable interface with a positive relationship between China and only the TD-SCDMA radio. Finally addresses the XT800 on the right side, like a Dell Mini 3i done well for us, heterogeneous balancing dual-mode GSM and EV-DO network for China Telecom fairly. We have to give Moto here: apparently the 3.7-inch WVGA-5-megapixel Android fans drooling animals were allowed almost everywhere in the world, so let’s get ‘em in Europe and the United States on the double, not right?
